Lori Wyatt has been a real estate professional since 1992, specializing in rentals, condominium conversions, and large-scale development projects across Chicago.
She began her career in rental properties before transitioning into condominium conversion projects, including the successful sales of 1250 Dearborn in the Gold Coast, a 100+ unit project owned by the Berger Family.
She later worked on major developments including:
- New construction loft projects in the West Loop
- One Thirty South Canal (212-unit, $44M development) with Everest Partners

In 2000, Lori joined boutique brokerage firm Rubloff, where she built a strong residential sales career before founding her own firm, Dwell One Realty, in 2006.

Derek Light – Chicago Airbnb, Fix & Flip & General Contractor Expert
Derek Light is a Chicago real estate broker, general contractor, and investment specialist focusing on Airbnb, fix-and-flip, and residential construction projects.
He began his career with Coldwell Banker / NRT, where he managed Midwest internet marketing operations for one of the largest brokerage firms in the region.
Afterward, he obtained both his:
- Real estate broker license
- General contractor license
Derek now serves as the lead GC on a major redevelopment project involving 84 scattered-site homes across Chicago, focusing on renovation and resale.
His expertise includes:
- Airbnb rental optimization in Chicago
- Fix and flip investment strategy
- Residential construction and renovation management
